Life As We Know It

Hello everyone!  Well, we made it to summer & I made it to my 3rd trimester! YAY! Looking forward to baby girl's arrival in less than 3 months =)  We've been very busy lately.


I will try to "summarize" our life as best I can:


1st - Dominic is now officially a 2nd grader & Gino will be going to Panda Pre-school in the fall....whew.  They've been enjoying their summer so far (when they're not fighting about something), playing outside a lot & have even got to swim in Emma's pool already.

Yes, that would be Dominic driving the RZR, only in slow short distances, but he does do good =)

2nd - Me & baby are doing great!  I'm feeling pretty good, trying to survive the heat.  My energy level comes & goes & I do notice a lot more "uncomfortable" feelings with this pregnancy. But it's all good & I'm very anxious to meet this little VERY active child inside me =) I'm now seeing the doctor every two weeks.


3rd - We recently got the honor of hosting a wedding at our house for two of our good friends (who we had a part in bringing together), Jamie & Tracy & their combined 6 kids!
It was a GREAT day after all the rain we've had, we lucked out & got a beautiful sunny day for the wedding.

4th - I must send a shout out of congratulations to one of my bestest friends, Morgan, on her great accomplishment of graduating nursing school, with honors =)  I am VERY proud of her....all the work she went through to get to where she is now was NOT easy! I give credit to all college students & graduates on the workloads they are given.  I also wish her the BEST of luck on taking her state boards =)

5th - Along with everything else going on we also managed to complete a much-needed basement project.  We (ok, Andy) put up walls to close up our storage area & laundry room & we added a 1/2 bath.  I LOVE the new & improved space we've created!!! 

6th - Upcoming events & projects are now to build loft beds for the boy's.  They will be sharing what is now Dominic's room.  Hopefully we will have that done by the beginning of July so I can get the baby's room all set up.

Next week Dominic will turn 8!  I can't believe it =)  He's such a great kid I am a very lucky mama.  He did so well in school this year, got the Gobstopper award in his class for always knowing a "gob" of words in spelling.  He's also very good at math & science (doesn't get that part from me haha)

I'm also looking forward to my baby shower coming up in a few weeks!  Been oh 8 years since I've had one of those & I couldn't be more excited =)  Looking at baby girl stuff has been SO much fun!!!

I think that just about about sums up our life to this point....this summer promises many more adventures yet to come & I'll keep you up to date as much as possible =)

Oh I should also mention that Rocky is now a year old....not such a little dog anymore at around 100lbs
