Enjoying Easter

Well, we've had a fun spring so far.... besides all the rain & cold. Still waiting for that warm weather to stick around. We've gotten a few nice days that we've taken advantage of and now I'm ready to start planting flowers!

We added onto the boy's sandbox & filled it full of sand! They've been in it ever since ....even in the rain! They'll play out there for hours (when they're not fighting), than come in & dump out their boots ....in my mudroom. Such fun!
Dominic discovered he could ride his bigger bike without training wheels this year, so he's very excited! Goes part-way down the driveway & through all the mud. Such a boy! He enjoys going over to Papa K's house whenever he can too. He'll just go & hang out in the shop with him & drink his pop.
Gino has also learned how to ride his tricycle. He was SO proud of himself as you can see from the big grin on his face!
I hope everyone had a VERY Happy Easter! We've experienced it all from cookies (multiplying bunnies in my oven! haha) to decorating eggs (never w/color stain again), to egg hunts. Oh my!
The kids had fun Easter morning waking up to a trail of Easter eggs from each of their rooms leading to their baskets 'o goodies.

Than after church we got to go on over the creek & through the woods to Momo & Poppy K's house looking for eggs along the way. They thought that was great fun! Gino's latest words are "probably & maybe". He says them a lot. We haven't improved much on the potty training... but still trying. He wore his big boy pants to Wal-Mart yesterday & he's been waking up dry, so that's a good thing. There's still hope!

We've really been battling with Gino hitting. He beats up on "D" all the time. Poor kid. His most recent rotten experience though would have to be the other day when Andy brought him inside not looking to happy (Andy, that is, Gino didn't look to upset) & I asked what happened & he said "would you like to see the side of your truck?" Yea, Gino had been throwing rocks at the yellow bus. Needless to say I was not to pleased with him. Couple good chips in the paint.

Dominic got to dress all "wacky" for Wacky Wednesday at pre-school. For a kid who always has to match ....he had fun with it.
Stay tuned ...next month Dominic is going to Kindergarten screening...yep, I said it. I'm slowly preparing myself.
