MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM THE GUIDETTI 5

Can you believe it's almost Christmas again?!!  Wow it seems to come quicker each year!

We had a great Thanksgiving. It was nice to have my Uncle Ron & Cousin Tyler visiting from Wyoming, we don't get to see them often enough, unfortunately my Aunt Lora was not able to come with them this time.

Unfortunately Carmen was done being passed around & ready for a nap or this would've been a cuter picture!  haha

Carmen & her cousin Savanna enjoyed their first Thanksgiving together too!

LOVE these kiddos!

even when they are being oh so silly!

Carmen is already 4 months old.... how time flies.  She's learning new things everyday & becoming so much fun.  She let out her first belly laugh the other day at the doctor's for Gino & I've gotten her to do it a couple more times since than.  They are SO cute!  She still loves her bath time & is in bed by 6:30 & only wakes up once or twice.  She is still a lousy napper during the day, but I'll take the night sleeping over the day.  She enjoys reaching for things now & always has smiles for her brothers & kisses for her mama.

She seems to be teething already too, because she LOVES to chew (& drool).
She weighed 14 lbs
& was 24" long at her 4-mo check up.

The boy's like to drive her around in her little car....she apparently enjoys it too!

We've got a new visitor in the house for the holidays....his name is Boomer (we got to name him), he brought along a book called Elf on the Shelf.  He watches the kids & reports back to Santa each night if they've been naughty or nice than when he comes back he hides somewhere new in the house.  The boys have fun looking for him to see what kind of mischief he's getting into....but they aren't allowed to touch him or he loses his magic.  We've found him riding on the Polar Express, making marshmallow snowmen & hanging upside down in the tree.  He's a very silly little elf.

Well, I hope you are all ready for Christmas & looking forward to it as much as we are!
Enjoy this special time of year with
family & friends!!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS &
A HAPPY SAFE NEW YEAR!

for loving, sharing, giving, are not to put away
like bells and lights and tinsel, in some box upon a shelf.

Adjusting to Life With Three

Well, it hasn't been easy, but we're on the road to adjusting to life with 3 kids.  Only took us 3 months!  Yepp, that's right, our baby girl is 3 months old now.

We just love her to pieces ....even though she's got quite a temper she can turn on & off anytime she pleases.  This has made daily life more complicated & very busy.  But when she's happy, she's very happy! Smiling, cooing & "talking" to us.  The boy's still enjoy her very much & ask to hold her, but she's more difficult for them to hold at the moment.  She's not content to just lay in their arms anymore.

I have SO much fun dressing her in all her adorable clothes!  She's like my own real-life baby doll =)

The girl LOVES bathtime.  She could be screaming till she's red in the face (which she does often) & as soon as I turn on her bath water she stops instantly.  Than she's happy as a clam through her entire bath.

Dominic is doing great in school.  He got his first  report card in 2nd Grade and it's all A's & A+'s.  We are SO proud of him.  He was a construction worker for his class party & of course looks nothing like his dad :)

Gino is also doing well in preschool....has taken some adjustment for him, but he seems to be doing better & is more involved now.  He's always coming home telling me all about his day & singing all the songs.  He also had fun on his first field trip to the fire station.  They even got a call when we were there so all the kids got to watch the fireman suit up & drive off with lights & sirens!

Carmen has many friends already, and got to have a playdate with her cousin Savanna who is 6 weeks younger than her.  They will grow up being good friends I hope =)

I've tried many attempts at a good picture of Dominic, Gino & Carmen & here are a few of them.... think I will keep trying ;)

My goofy children, gotta luv 'em =)

Andy has also had a successful beginning to hunting season, by landing a 10 point buck with his bow.  It's been a long time since he's gotten one, so he was pretty happy.....as were Dominic & Gino who have helped with the entire process (more Dominic than Gino, he's gonna be into all that stuff like his dad & Papa K more than Gino I think).  I say "ick!" Not a fan of deer meat, but they all like it.

Please keep our family in your prayers as it seems Andy will be facing back surgery in the coming weeks....he's been struggling with pain since August & has been to many different doctors & chiropractors to try & fix it in order to avoid surgery, but now this seems to be the only option left.

Wishing everyone a
VERY Happy Thanksgiving
as it is soon approaching!!!
All in all, we've had a rough & joyful year all at the same time & have a LOT to be thankful for!!!

SHE'S HERE!!!

We are proud to announce
CARMEN MARIE GUIDETTI
is now here!
(and 1 week old already)

Born at 9:12 am
Sunday, August 14, 2011
8lbs, 4oz
18" long

After a looong night of laboring, she made a quick natural entrance first thing Sunday morning.  I had the best doctors & nurses=)  Plus Andy, my mom & Morgan were all there to share it with me.  Out of all 3 of my children, she was the biggest, go figure.  But she's still so very tiny & cuddly.  I have trouble putting her down (& sharing).

The boy's fell in love with her instantly & continue to fight over who gets to hold her daily.  I'm so glad!  They are great helpers!  They also love all the little grunts, snorts & facial expressions she makes.

She's such a good baby....rarely cries unless she needs to eat or burp, great eater & only wakes up once or twice a night too!  Such a different baby than both Dominic & Gino & I'm so thankful!

They make GREAT big & middle brothers =)

LOVE HER!

I have TOO much fun dressing her up in all her pinks & purples & of course accessorizing with the many headbands & bows!

We are SO very blessed to have her in our lives as we adjust to being a family of 5 now.
This week has been good....next week might be different as school begins.  But I'm sure we'll get it all figured out just fine =)

Count Down To Baby.....

Well, we've been having a fun HOT summer so far....hard to believe school is just around the corner.

Gino had a GREAT 5th Birthday!  THANK YOU to ALL who gifted him with money (he LOVED getting the mail!)  And also to those who gave him presents at his CARS party.  He got everything he asked for & more this year, so he was a very happy little boy =)  He's already bought a new Hot Wheels Custom Motors truck (after lots of looking, he finally settled on the perfect thing he wanted to spend some of his money on)

I also had a really great Birthday this year!!  It's fun getting the mail cause Gino gets a card & I get a card (though mine don't always have money in them anymore, what a bummer haha).

With the help of my MOST wonderful friend Morgan, she got together with my mom & Andy to give me this BEAUTIFUL bracelet with so many BEAUTIFUL charms on it!!! I just love it =)  I can't wait to add more to it! There's a zillion to choose from for every occasion!

I also got taken out to dinner two nights in a row (thank you Tracy, Brandon & Morgan & my mom for watching my boy's)!!  I have amazing friends & family =)

We've been spending a lot of time at Emma's pool.  Dominic has graduated out of his arm floaties & now swims ALL over the pool & even jumps & dives off the diving board!  I am very proud of him.  Gino has also taken his wings off & learned how to swim under water.  He stays close to the edge though...doesn't swim well enough to venture out to far yet.  And that's ok with me.

We took the boy's to a sibling class at the hospital & got to take a tour & see the new wing.  It's very nice!  I'm just praying they have room for me, they have been SWAMPED this summer with babies!

Only 3 weeks to go now....unless baby girl decides to come early, which would be fine with me.  The summer hasn't been too bad though, I've been keeping cool & hydrated.

The nursery is all ready & the boy's like their new beds.  Andy did a GREAT job on them! (though Gino still refuses to go to sleep when it's time, he'd rather keep Dominic awake).  It's very frustrating....I'm hoping we can figure out something before school starts.  They both need their sleep.

As you can see, I had too much fun decorating with all the pink & brown polka dots!  Can't wait to meet this baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Getting very anxious as time get's closer.  I feel like a ticking time-bomb, not sure when it will happen for sure, so I'm just trying to be as ready as possible.

Will keep you informed =)
Enjoy what summer you have left!!!!!!!

Let the Birthday Season Begin!

Hi Everyone!!! Hope you're having a FANTASTIC summer so far!  Our's has been good....very busy though.

We took the boys to their first movie in a theater the other day to see CARS 2 in 3D!  They had a really good time!  Though I did have to keep my leg on Gino's seat because it wanted to swallow him whenever he moved haha!

Dominic had a GREAT 8th Birthday!  He was really looking forward to this one for some reason & even decided to make himself king for the day.....needless to say, Gino obliged, but look out Dominic because Gino's Birthday is just around the corner (July 20) and he's already said he's looking forward to telling Dominic what to do!  Luckily Dominic did say that they weren't allowed to tell me what to do, ha! smart kid =)

He enjoyed having his best friend, Grant over for the day to play & than some of the family over for his Birthday supper.

A HUGE THANK YOU to all who gave or sent him a gift, whether it be money or toys!  He looked forward to getting the mail to see if he had any new cards.  He also enjoyed spending some of his Birthday money at Toys'R'Us.  He was able to buy the new CARS 2 Wii game & a small remote car.

(a special Thank you to Aunt Janet on a very delicious "inside-out" cake that he just had to have)

Dominic & Gino both LOVE Rocky....they are getting very good at helping to take care of him. Funny to watch Dominic drag a dog twice his weight to his kennel at night =)

A boy & his dog, it's a beautiful thing.....or a dog & his boy in this case, not sure which =)

Thanks to Morgan, I had a wonderful baby shower this past Sunday!!! It was fun seeing everyone who came, playing the games & opening all the ADORABLE gifts!!! Thank you everyone!!!

 brown & pink theme

Mom made this adorable elephant diaper cake!

Morgan made this adorable diaper 4-wheeler =)

My mom & my Godmother, Joan (I like this picture)

My ADORABLE cake, thank you thank you Janet!!!

Me during one of the games where I had to smell a diaper & decide what kind of  "poop" chocolate was melted inside....VERY funny & a little disgusting haha

Andy has been busy building the boy's their new bed so that we can get them adjusted to being in the same room before baby girl arrives.  He's doing a great job & I can't wait to see the completed project! He even had Dominic helping sand some of the wood.  He enjoys helping his dad anyway he can.

Dominic & Gino are excited, though Dominic has warned Gino he NEEDS to learn to sleep & be quiet before he get's to his room!  He was doing SO well....but not so much anymore.  Found him asleep in the hallway about 11 the other night.  He insists he's not tired (at 9 when we've been putting them to bed).  He's a very stubborn child (can't imagine where he get's that from).

My 2-week Dr visits have been going good, I'm now into my 8th month & right on track with weight (no, I feel HUGE). Baby girl is head-down & still moving  all the time (she does take a few naps throughout the day, but not many, think I might be in trouble).  I'm getting more & more anxious to meet her!!! I've also been very thankful that the summer heat hasn't been too bad so far, hopefully it'll keep up the trend.
