Can We Move In YET?

The house is moving along so quickly... I'm very

impressed on what 3 guys are able to get done in a days time. It's amazing. Everyone is so very nice & it's also amazing how clean the house is when the builders leave for the day. They do a great job!!!

We have so much fun going up at the end of the day as a family to see what has been done (I go up throughout the day too...I can't wait all day till Andy gets home, I'm not that patient).

My brother, Brandon, was home for a visit so he got a "walk-through" of the house. He won't see it again until it's completed because he probably won't be back home again till Christmas (he's currently living in FL pursuing his next adventure......safe from the weather).

Dominic & Gino have so much fun running through the house & trying out their bedrooms, closets, bathtub & looking out the windows & doors. This week they got the roof trusses on, both interior & exterior framing & steps to the basement built. So cool!!! We enjoyed watching the big crane again lifting all the trusses into place. Gino thinks it's a huge dinosaur & walks around like one roaring.

Here is a picture of the frame....they've since gotten the shingles on the roof & gravel is layed out where our sidewalk will be (we can now walk our on our front porch). The fireplace frame has been built & fireplace inserted (going to be sooo nice & cozy this winter!), our doors & windows were also installed.

The plumbers have been in & started their part, the tubs & our shower have been put in their proper place. Our kitchen has also been drawn in on the floor where everything will be

(now I know where my stove is if I choose to use it!!!)

We now have a projected move-in date set for NOVEMBER 8th (so keep your calendars marked & schedules open!!!). Only had to add 13 more days to our paper chain from the date I was shooting for...haha. We will still be in before Thanksgiving.... and boy do we ever have a lot to be thankful this year :)
