The boys are doing great. We've had some sickies, but nothing too serious, just enough to make a person re-think motherhood!

Sorry if you didn't receive an 18month picture of Gino (yes, he's that old already...seems like he's been around longer!)....it's not for a lack of effort on my part. We went to Sears prepared to take some great pictures, little did I know Gino had other plans. To completely FREAK OUT whenever the photographer neared the camera. He would have nothing to do with it. We tried everything, Dominic would pose, the photographer left the room holding the camera clicker and we would try to tell her when to snap, heck, I was even going to take the picture myself, but it was not gonna happen. So we gave up and I decided to just take some snapshots of him at home myself. We'll try again at 21 mos! I had some friend
s in a group I'm in on-line doctor them up some. Here are a couple of the results (gotta love the Wheaties box!):With this new age milestone Gino has also decided he's not a baby anymore. He has to sit in a big chair just like Do
minic (good thing Papa K made us two!)...and he refuses to wear a bib....still messy as ever, just more laundry for mom! He also has to use adult silverware (because Dominic does)....which of course only adds to the mess! Good thing there is no carpet in our kitchen because I do a lot of sweeping. Maybe Copper should be an inside dog after-all.He's also attempted to climb from his crib....I was downstairs and heard a huge thud only to find him sitting on his floor crying. He was fine. Luckily he hasn't attempted it again. I'm not ready for him to be in a toddler bed yet. I would NEVER get him to stay in bed.
Another thing he has accomplished....without falling, which I am very thankful for, is walking down the steps. He does very well and holds on to the spindles under the railing as he goes. He thinks it's great fun to climb up and walk down. He does this many times a day. Glad they're carpeted!
Recently we were bored and decided to visit a train/hobby store (who enjoyed it more between the 3 boys in my life, I'm not sure). After carrying Dominic out screaming and embarrassing us both because he and Gino were arguing over Thomas Trains, we came across a active
freight yard
The biggest thing I've been dealing with lately with Dominic & Gino is sharing. Gino LOVES taking toys from Dominic and running and hiding in his Thomas The Tank Engine pop-up tent. Poor Dominic is having a really hard time in this area, but we are trying to teach Gino. Someday he'll learn. It's just a game to Gino at the moment. He usually returns the toy, but only after he's upset his big brother. We'll probably be dealing with this for the rest of our lives I imagine....the toys will only get bigger too!
We've had some snow and more wind than I think I've ever seen in my life, I swear our house was gonna blow over a couple times. The snow tends to be very fluffy and not very packable, but Dominic and Andy managed to make a snowman with this last storm. He was happy....until he tried to put an eye back on it and the head rolled down the driveway. Oh well....it was good while it lasted!
One of Dominic's new favorite things to do is hide in his new hiding place......the cupboard. You won't know he's in there until
Some you may know Andy's little brother Tom joined the Marines and recently graduated from Boot Camp. We were all very proud of him! Andy's dad even got to go the the graduation in South Carolina.
Well, that is all there is to talk about at the moment from CO. Hope you are all enjoying life and we will be in touch soon!
HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY TO ALL!
