Welcoming The Sunshine!

I noticed my blog looked a little chilly!  Time to update it to warmer weather.

Though Dominic's spring break did start a day early with a snow day.... he had a great sunny week off to enjoy playing with Gino.

I took Dominic for an eye exam because he's been telling me his eyes get fuzzy.  He did great!  He doesn't need glasses, which I was happy about, but he was a little disappointed.  He wanted some.  Instead he got these cool dark ones to wear until his eyes got back to normal after being dilated......now if we could only get him to STOP wearing them.  =)

Gino and I have been enjoying our time together during the days ....I'm kinda glad I'm not sending him to pre-school yet.  He's pretty fun to have around with all his crazy talk.  If only I can get him out of his jammies more often, he loves to wear them all day.

Our latest new toy has been lots of fun for all of us ....especially all the "boys" in my family.  Let me just say, it's a good thing I don't mind getting a little muddy now & than =)

Dominic has also been having fun on a borrowed 4-wheeler we've been storing at our house for a friend.

We had a fun time getting ready for Easter making cookies & decorating eggs.  Gino was lots of help to my friend Morgan & I making cookies, rolling out dough, licking off frosting, & loading his cookies up with TONS of sprinkles!

The kids had fun Easter morning waking up to a trail of Easter eggs leading them to their baskets.  Than after church they got to go on an egg search in the woods between our house & my parent's.

This picture was probably the best out of 10 tries!  Getting them to both stand still & smile at the same time together is very challenging at times.

Gino was also very proud of himself this day because we took off his training wheels!  He was only using them to get on & go..... so we taught him how to do that & now he rides everywhere!  We're very proud of him as well.  He's a very determined little boy, even falling down a couple times didn't stop him from trying again and again.

Please keep my brother-in-law, Tom & his family in your prayers.  He's been deployed to Afghanistan for 14 months.   He's doing well, he's able to contact his family at least once a week.
But we miss him & pray for his safe return everyday =)
