Graduation

Well, since only my last post Gino has given up riding the tri-cycle & moved on to a bigger bike with training wheels (like "D")......I suppose he was bored riding the tri-cycle.  He was SO excited when he mastered this new task!!  When he puts his mind to something look out!

Dominic is still into Batman for some reason (must be a boy thing) so I was excited when I found him the cutest jammies cape & all!!  Of course when I brought them home for Dominic Gino decided he had to have some too...luckily I found another pair in his size.

We planted our FIRST tree on our property!!!  (thanks Janet!)
We finally got Gino to ride on one of my parent's mules, Sue.  He thought it was pretty fun....though you couldn't tell by looking at his face in this picture :]
They've also been having a fun time on our latest find .....a 4-wheeler, only a battery operated one, but still fun.  Surprisingly they've been sharing pretty well.....Dominic better than Gino at times.  We had to order new batteries though the ones that are in it wear out too quickly so we're waiting for the new ones to come. ...as patiently as possible might I add.
We got to participate in an Arthritis Walk at the Cleveland Zoo with our friends Brandon & Morgan & had lots of fun!!  It was a perfect weather day ....tiring though with so much walking.  But the kids had fun seeing the animals and posing for
pictures!!  The zebra was Gino's favorite.

Well, what a BIG month it's been ....not only with all of the above but Dominic had his Kindergarten screening so he's all registered!!!  He did great.  He was a little nervous at first...but he got to stand in line with his friend Ariel so he was good.  He also got to see his uncle Mark soon as he got downstairs so that helped loosen him up.  He's very excited about going to Kindergarten.  He's made SO many friends in pre-school.  His best friend is a little boy named Gunner who he played with the most.
On the way home from screening we were talking about how some of the kids were crying & Dominic said it's because they liked their parent's a lot ....than he said "I really like dad"...."and I like you too".  Thanks kid!   Another funny pre-school story is thanks to his best "girl" friend Ariel.  Her mom, Challi, and I have been friends since we were toddlers.  Challi asked Ariel how school was the other day & Ariel replied "it was SO romantic".  When she asked her why it was romantic she said "because Dominic & I held hands under the table".  OH MY!!!  I'm sooo not ready for THAT yet!  hahaha  It was really cute though :]  When I asked Dominic about it, he said "well, she wanted to".  And it begins.................

SO, now to graduation!!!!!!!!!  (I did very well, only got a little teary eyed!).  The program was great, his class sang lots of cute songs & got certificates & hats.  I can't believe it's been a year already since I took him to that first orientation night at Panda. But he's come a long way.  He writes his name so well, knows all the upper & lower case letters by sight and the teachers say he's really come out of his shell.
